Marketing Email Design

Email design requires a blend of form and function. I’ve crafted engaging, brand-aligned email designs for multiple clients, ensuring each one was visually appealing, easy to read, and built for maximum engagement. Working within various email platforms, I balanced HTML text and imagery to optimize for deliverability. Each design was also structured to guide users toward key actions—whether it was clicking through to a promotion, signing up for an event, or staying connected with the brand.

Overview

Final email designs were optimized for both mobile and desktop, ensuring a smooth experience across devices. Beyond this, these emails helped keep brands top of mind, reinforcing credibility and driving engagement. Whether the goal was increasing clicks, boosting conversions, or strengthening customer relationships, these designs helped achieve those goals.

The Branding Process

The process for this branding project began with a client intake. During this intake we asked questions surrounding what the client did and didn’t like about their current brand, what they hoped the new brand would capture, and how they envisioned their business in the coming years.

With this background, I moved into my own process of competitor research, inspiration gathering, and offline sketching. Once I significantly narrowed down my initial sketched concepts I began to revise them digitally.

Industry:
Strategic Planning & Leadership
Focus: B2B
Notes
In addition to their core service offerings, this client hosts multiple events throughout the year designed to further engage businesses and leaders within the surrounding community. Both their ongoing services and annual events share a common objective: connection, growth, and leadership development.

These email designs and their brand are intentionally positioned as fun, lighthearted, and upbeat—an approach that reflects their belief that leadership training should be an engaging and energizing experience rather than a traditional, lecture-driven format.

Industry:
National Brick & Mortar Franchise
Focus: B2C
Notes
This client provides non-surgical treatment options for common conditions such as hip and joint pain. While their primary patient base has traditionally been older, the company was expanding its service offerings and seeking to engage a slightly younger demographic.

To support this initiative, we developed a templated HSA email drip campaign that could be implemented across all franchise locations. The creative approach intentionally broadened the visual representation of patients by incorporating younger individuals alongside the brand’s standard imagery, while also featuring positive, action-oriented visuals that reinforced themes of healing and active living. Messaging focused on the accessibility of treatment, emphasizing how straightforward it is for patients to use existing HSA or FSA funds to cover care.

Industry:
Luxury Homes / Architecture
Focus: B2C & B2B
Notes
This client designs and manufactures luxury, hand-crafted exterior and garage doors. Given the premium nature of their products, their audience includes both individual homeowners and professionals within the architecture and construction industries.

As a result, their email marketing strategy balances product promotion with educational content tailored to each segment. In addition to showcasing specific door collections and features, the emails often provide valuable insights to support design decisions and specification processes.

The examples shown here represent a sampling of their broader email marketing efforts.
