Tulos Media Networks Brand Refresh

Tulos offers premium TV & radio media inventory at a fraction of the cost of competitors. The company's end-to-end media campaigns are built to drive performance for direct response advertisers, brand response advertisers, and traditional advertisers that need efficiently-priced media.

Overview

In 2023, my team and I were tasked with developing a complete branding identity for Tulos, a new remnant media buying network dedicated to increasing radio and TV performance for clients while maintaining low ad spend.

The branding needed to capture a results-focused agency working with TV and radio while still standing out from competing brands. This included a modern logo, cohesive visual language, and a brand that resonated with a variety of clients and brands.

This project is my 2025 updated take on the brand which I previously helped develop in 2023. My goal for this brand update is to add fresh energy to the tired color palette and the underexplored brand.

The Brand Evolution:

2023 → 2025

2023 Logo

The original logo design from 2023. In the initial process the client wanted a unique wordmark that incorporated the brand mark within the word.

Revised Logo

The newly proposed logo. As the brand expanded across new materials I wanted to revise the design to include a logo mark outside of the wordmark that could stand on it's own and scale up or down in size. Additionally, I further altered the wordmark to push for a more ownable visual style that still captures motion and broadcasting.

Brand Shape & Pattern Exploration

In the revision process I wanted to explore an original mark and coinciding pattern that still captured the movement and frequency that the initial logo design implied. In early exploration the curves of the "t" and "s" in caught my attention, which eventually led to the final pattern and mark.
